Gym patrons were shown the door for eight hours while the production took place. I’m sure they’re comfortable with it, because Gleason’s hosts photo shoots, films, and other interferences on a regular basis. It’s to be expected in a place as iconic as Gleason’s.

Here’s a version of the movie poster, although I sincerely doubt this is the final. Many movies, notably Pulp Fiction, had several posters in distribution, although there were not the official marketing pieces.

I really should keep my video camera with me. I’ve seen a lot of action in Brooklyn recently, with a set seeming to pop up every few weeks.

Changes
With the redesign, my portfolio will reside here, instead of Flickr, which will be phased out before the end of the year. One less account for me to manage makes life easier. And, speaking of portfolios, I will no longer provide Photoshop retouching. I’ll provide a thorough rationale in a future blog post, but Photoshop has become a deprecated tool in my arsenal.

My favorite studio, which was on 36th Street, has closed down due to the economic stranglehold that New York City struggles with. My other favorite studio, in Brooklyn, has faced the same ordeal. I’ve found another studio in Brooklyn and hope to use their location for the foreseeable future.

What Remains the Same
Rates and services have not been affected, so you will receive the same professionalism from me that you’ve come to love and expect. That’s reassuring, especially when the prices have gone up, industry-wide.
